Due to its chemical purity and its high refractive index, the use of SOCAL® in paint and paper formulation is cost effective. It permits partial or total replacement of expensive TiO2. Moreover, SOCAL® increases brightness and avoids the yellowish appearance caused by non-synthetic minerals.
